Arranging for vocal groups

On Saturday, October 15, 2011 Kleine steentjes muziektrainingen organizes a masterclass led by Jetse Bremer, with the subject: 'Arranging for vocal groups'.

Jetse Bremer is a composer and arranger of vocal music. He is known from the TV show 'The sing-off', for which he wrote arrangements and acted as vocal coach. He also wrote arrangements for the TV show 'Korenslag'. He wrote many arrangements commisioned by artists like Karin Bloemen and Caro Emerald. Jetse Bremer was associated as a tenor in the Netherlands Chamber Choir. In recent years, he became more and more focussed on writing feature-length choral works.

Contents:

Participants write an arrangement for vocal group / choir. These arrangements must be submitted before Friday, September 16, 2011. The submitted arrangements will be reviewed by Jetse Bremer prior to the masterclass and will be subject during the masterclass on October 15.

Participants:

Composers, arrangers and others who are looking for specialization in writing vocal arrangements.

Level:

Participants should have sufficient theoretical music background and experience in writing compositions or arrangements for vocal group or choir. The maximum number of participants is 10. Final registration is dependent on the evaluation of the submitted arrangments by Jetse Bremer.
