Because 'music theory' has a wide scope and to make participation as easy as possible for you, our music theory courses are divided into two levels which can be followed separately, sequentially or together. Currently the levels Music Theory I and II are offered. Both courses can be followed in a number of time-blocks (see below).

Music Theory I is developed for participants who have no experience with music theory and who want to learn basic music theory within a limited amount of time.

Music Theory II is developed for participants who have come into limited contact with music theory, but who wish to expand their knowlegde.

Both courses cover virtually the same subjects, but Music Theory II will discuss the subject matter further. Participants work intensively in smaal groups (6 participants maximum). Our goal is not only to offer the music theory, but actually mastering the subject matter. During the course, participants will practice intensively, both orally and in writing.
